General Changes

Let's begin with the core updates to gameplay and the user interface. A new League Migrations button now allows players to transfer their characters to parent leagues seamlessly. The Strongbox mechanics have seen enhancements, with reduced intervals between enemy waves and clearer distinctions between spawned and map-native mobs. A previously existing bug that halted monster spawning has been resolved, and fog now clears once all enemies are defeated, making Research Strongboxes more frequent. Additionally, runes in equipment can now be replaced, armor effectiveness has been boosted, and character level no longer dictates access to Expedition Vendors, with shop rarity now depending solely on the shop's level.

Minions that perish too far from the player will now respawn instantly nearby, making it easier to keep your team intact. Uncut Gems now display their level within the item name, and equipped Charms show remaining charges. Entering maps is safer with no immediate monster spawns at the entrance, and item pickup is now more user-friendly, even during other character actions. GGG has also focused on improving overall game performance, particularly in shadow-heavy areas, speeding up loading times, optimizing boss fights and visual effects, and enhancing gameplay in The Ziggurat Encampment.

Several skills have been adjusted for better gameplay dynamics. The Supercharged Slam skill now has a fixed radius of 3 meters. Scavenged Plating now grants more stacks against stronger enemies. The Vine Arrow skill's description has been updated to clarify that it only hits enemies upon landing. The Pain Offering skill no longer carries an Aura tag, and skills socketed in Meta Gems cannot gain energy. Additionally, Lightning Bolt has been renamed to Greater Lightning Bolt, reflecting its origin from the unique amulet Choir of the Storm, with adjusted damage mechanics.

Boss hitboxes have been refined to better align with visual attack animations, and certain monster spawn rates have been lowered. The energy shield of mobs has been rebalanced to improve map clearing enjoyment. Over 40 monster changes have been implemented, enhancing visual effects and modifying attacks without drastically altering gameplay, collectively improving the overall experience.

Endgame Changes

In version 0.1.1, players can explore four new Tower Map areas, with the Lost Towers Map receiving an update. The Arbiter of Ash boss fight now offers six attempts instead of one, with changes to its Falling Flame Seed and Flaming Gale skills, and a shift in focus from minions to players. Maps now feature checkpoints and at least three Rare Monsters to defeat and loot. Monster balance adjustments have been made across several maps, including doubling the number of monsters in Untainted Paradise. Some areas now contain more chests, and bosses appear more frequently, though the chance of a Map Boss dropping a Waystone has decreased.
