Monster Hunter Wilds Patch 1.000.05.00 Fixes Quest Blockers, Among Other Things — but There Are No Performance Improvements Yet

Author : Aaliyah Mar 16,2025

Capcom has released hotfix 1.000.05.00 for *Monster Hunter Wilds* across all platforms, addressing several key issues and improvements. This patch tackles various progression blockers and bugs, though it doesn't include performance enhancements.

Despite a “mixed” user review rating on Steam, largely due to PC performance complaints, *Monster Hunter Wilds* has achieved phenomenal success. It sold 8 million copies in just three days, setting a new record as Capcom's fastest-selling game ever. Its Steam concurrent player peak of 1,384,608 surpasses titles like *Dota 2*, *Cyberpunk 2077*, and *Elden Ring*, dwarfing even *Monster Hunter: World*'s peak of 334,684.

A significant title update is planned for early April, promising a new endgame area and more monster hunting challenges.
