InZOI Director Confirms Community-Wished Features
This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year with a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, shared exciting updates on the much-anticipated features that fans have been eagerly requesting for the game.

In InZOI, players will have the innovative ability to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting their zois. This feature, already highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further streamlined, as emphasized by Kjun, making the process of creating zois even more user-friendly. Additionally, while not available during the early access phase, players will eventually be able to have their own pets in the game. Kjun, a self-proclaimed animal lover, is particularly excited about this upcoming addition.
The game's environment will feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. Although the game engine could theoretically support higher structures, this limit is implemented to ensure smooth performance and prevent potential issues. Players can also look forward to the inclusion of gas stations and engaging combat scenarios. Responding to feedback that the slap mechanic felt too superficial in early previews, Kjun has promised more comprehensive fights that will now include clear winners and losers, adding depth to the gameplay.
Recognizing that many newcomers may be unfamiliar with the genre, the developers are including a tutorial to help ease players into the world of InZOI. This thoughtful approach is certainly commendable and will likely enhance the overall player experience.
Krafton remains committed to releasing InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. Fans of the game can look forward to these exciting features and more as the release date approaches.
