Gungeon Android Test Fires Rain Down

Enter the Gungeon, the acclaimed 2016 bullet-hell roguelike, is launching an Android test in China! A limited-time free demo is available on TapTap from June 28th to July 8th, offering players a sneak peek into the Gungeon's chaotic depths.

This mobile adaptation retains the core roguelike experience: unique runs, a diverse cast of quirky heroes, and challenging chambers filled with unpredictable enemies. The controls and interface have been redesigned for intuitive touchscreen play, allowing for fluid movement and rapid-fire combat. A standout feature is the inclusion of two-player online co-op, enabling collaborative Gungeon conquering.

The demo provides access to the first two floors, introducing players to a selection of the game's extensive arsenal and bizarre adversaries, including bullet-spewing bosses. Developer feedback is actively sought during this testing period, focusing on bug reports, performance issues, and overall optimization. Interested players can access the TapTap page for the Android test.

While the current test is exclusive to China and features a Chinese interface, the game's popularity suggests a global release is likely in the future, though no official date has been announced. For more gaming news, check out the latest on Zenless Zone Zero's pre-release livestream!
