Elden Ring Nightreign Release Date Confirmed

Elden Ring Nightreign, a standalone cooperative spin-off from FromSoftware, launches May 30, 2025, priced at $40 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).

Before launch, a network test exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will run February 14-17, offering five three-hour sessions to assess online functionality and performance. These sessions are not continuous throughout the four days.

Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Session Times (PT/ET):

• February 14: 3am-6am / 6am-9am
• February 14: 7pm-10pm / 10pm-1am
• February 15: 11am-2pm / 2pm-5pm
• February 16: 3am-6am / 6am-9am
• February 16: 7pm-10pm / 10pm-1am

This test allows three players to collaborate as Nightfarers, battling new threats and exploring a dynamic map across a three-day/night cycle in Limveld, a constantly changing environment. Each night culminates in a boss fight, with victory leading to greater challenges. Defeating the Nightlord on the third night is the ultimate goal.

Elden Ring Nightreign begins at the Roundtable Hold in a parallel universe. Players choose from eight unique characters with distinct abilities and Ultimates. The ever-shifting Limveld environment and shrinking map due to the Night’s Tide demand quick decisions. Failure yields relics for character customization and upgrades. Each session is a unique open-air dungeon experience, granting lasting stat bonuses upon successful completion. Uncovering powerful weapons and Runes requires exploring dangerous map areas and defeating challenging enemies. Sites of Grace offer leveling opportunities. The ultimate goal is to defeat the Nightlord and uncover the Nightfarers' stories.
