Game Overview:

Tongits is traditionally a three-player game using a standard 52-card deck. The goal is to minimize your hand's value by creating melds (sets and runs) and winning by achieving "Tongits" (emptying your hand), "Draw" (lowest hand value when the draw pile is depleted), or winning a challenge after a "Draw" call.

Gameplay:

• Setup: Each player starts with 12 cards (dealer gets 13), with remaining cards forming the draw pile.
• Turns: Players take turns clockwise, drawing from either the draw or discard pile. They form melds (sets of three or four same-rank cards, or runs of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) and discard a card.
• Winning: Win by achieving "Tongits," "Draw," or winning a challenge.
• Special Actions: "Burn" (invalid move results in a round loss) and strategic challenging add layers of depth.

Scoring:

Points are earned through melds and remaining hand values at the end of each round. Accumulated points determine the overall winner.
