Zenless Zone Zero 1.6 'Among the Forgotten Ruins' Release Imminent

HoYoverse has unveiled the details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins.' Launching on March 12th, the update plunges New Eridu into turmoil, introducing a wealth of new story content and characters.

What to Expect in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6

In this chapter, Proxies find themselves entangled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, who tasks them with securing a mysterious artifact tied to the Sacrifice. Simultaneously, the phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, aims to disrupt the Mayor's plans.

Other factions are also determined to prevent the Proxies from claiming the prize. Meanwhile, the suspicious behavior of Hugo and Vivian blurs the line between ally and enemy. You can preview the action in the trailer below.

Version 1.6 also delves into the background of the new unit, Anby Demara. Formerly known as Soldier 0 and leader of the Silver Squad, she now steps into the role of an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent, dealing Electric damage with her dual swords.

Joining the roster during the event is Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad. As an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent, she enters Sniper Mode to evade attacks and land precise shots, while also creating opportunities for teammates to perform Quick Assists.

Returning Characters and New Challenges

Pulchra Fellini makes a comeback, representing the Sons of Calydon as an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent. Rerun banners will also be available for S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan. Additionally, Geppetto arrives in Hollow Zero as the new boss encounter.

The update introduces a new Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge to test your combat prowess. A fresh Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds special stage effects, such as increased damage based on accumulated coins.

Trigger’s TV Schedule introduces third-person sniper gameplay for immersive sniper missions, while March On, Tiny Titan! lets you pilot a Bangboo drone through unique challenges. In Little Knight’s Big Charge, you guide a Bangboo through ten different trials, with rewards including the playable agent Pulchra.
