Hollow Knight: Silksong Headlines Xbox Game Pass September Wave

Microsoft has unveiled the first wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in September 2025, led by the highly-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong from Team Cherry.

Kicking things off on September 2nd is I Am Your Beast (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S), available today for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Here's the official description from Microsoft's announcement:

"I Am Your Beast is a compact, stealth-focused FPS revenge thriller. You are the prey, hunted by the military-industrial complex across the North American wilderness, until you turn the tables. Break your enemies. Use their gear against them. Escape through your tunnel network before they pinpoint your location. Repeat."

Arriving on September 3rd is Nine Sols (Xbox Series X|S) with Game Pass Standard. "Nine Sols is a meticulously crafted, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer featuring deep lore and deflection-based combat inspired by Sekiro. Journey through an Asia-inspired fantasy world, explore lands once controlled by an ancient alien race, and join a vengeful hero's quest to defeat the nine powerful Sols who rule this forsaken realm," Microsoft stated.

Then comes the major release: on September 4th, Hollow Knight: Silksong (Cloud, Console, PC) finally arrives on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. "Available on day one with Game Pass: Ascend to the peak of a vast, haunted kingdom in Hollow Knight: Silksong! This sequel to the acclaimed action-adventure game lets you explore, fight, and survive as Hornet, princess-protector of Hallownest, as she uncovers a land governed by silk and song."

Also releasing on September 4th is Cataclismo (PC) for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. "In this real-time strategy game, design and construct fortresses brick by brick to withstand endless hordes of Horrors. Manage resources, defend against sieges, and explore a grim world. Lead from the battlements, repel the darkness, and stand firm against the creatures of the Mist."

Next, on September 10th, PAW Patrol World (Cloud, Console, PC) launches across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. "Returning to the Game Pass library, experience the world of PAW Patrol in a new 3D action-adventure where anything is PAWsible. Play as your favorite pups, drive their vehicles, and save the day by completing fun rescues and missions in single-player or couch co-op with family. It’s the ultimate PAW Patrol playtime!"

Wrapping up Wave 1, RoadCraft (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S) arrives on September 16th for Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard. "In the aftermath of natural disasters, RoadCraft tasks you with rebuilding shattered infrastructure. Operate a fleet of over 40 authentic construction vehicles to clear debris, repair roads and bridges, and restore essential services. Tackle realistic challenges solo or cooperatively in vast, physics-driven environments shaped by destruction and recovery."

It's also worth noting that The Order of Giants DLC for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launches on September 4th. Game Pass members get a 10% discount on the Digital Premium Upgrade for day-one access or can purchase the DLC separately. Additionally, an EA Play Early Access Trial for EA Sports NHL 26 begins on September 5th. "Announce 'Check My Game' with the EA Play early access trial on Xbox Series X|S. Game Pass Ultimate members can hit the ice for up to 10 hours in NHL 26. If you purchase the full game, your progress carries over, so you can gear up for the next match."
