Wuthering Waves Officially Reveals 5-Star Characters for Version 2.1

Wuthering Waves Unveils Phoebe and Brant as Next 5-Star Rinascita Characters

Version 2.1 of Wuthering Waves will introduce Phoebe and Brant as the next 5-star Rinascita characters. While their weapon types and elements remain unconfirmed, lore suggests Phoebe will be a Spectro unit and Brant a sword wielder. Both are expected to play pivotal roles in future updates. The addition of these characters follows the recent 2.0 update which included Carlotta (a 5-star Glacio DPS) and Roccia (a Havoc unit). Zani is another anticipated character slated for a future release.

The highly anticipated 2.0 update introduced a wealth of new content, including a new story chapter, the Rinascita system, and expanded explorable areas. Carlotta's banner runs concurrently with Zhezhi's until January 23rd, followed by Roccia's banner concluding the update. While the 2.0 patch extends to mid-February, anticipation is already building for 2.1, fueled by the reveal of Phoebe and Brant.

Kuro Games, the developer, confirmed Phoebe and Brant's arrival via official Twitter announcements. Marketing suggests Phoebe will debut in Phase 1 of Version 2.1, with Brant following in Phase 2. Their in-game appearances and story roles hint at their respective unit types. Phoebe, an Acolyte of the Order of the Deep, is described as devout yet joyful. Brant, captain of the Fool's Troupe (Roccia's troupe), maintains a carefree exterior while prioritizing the troupe's safety.

Beyond the new characters, Version 2.0 also features a premium skin for Jinhsi and a free Sanhua skin obtainable through an upcoming event starting January 23rd. Further characters are rumored, but official confirmation is pending. The addition of Phoebe and Brant leaves only Zani from the previously teased Rinascita roster yet to be added.
