Warzone Glitch: Old Camos on Black Ops 6 Weapons
Summary
- A new Warzone glitch lets players use Modern Warfare 3 camos on Black Ops 6 weapons.
- This glitch requires a friend and involves specific steps in a private Warzone match.
- It's an unofficial method and may be patched in a future update.
A Call of Duty: Warzone player has discovered a glitch allowing Modern Warfare 3 camos to be applied to Black Ops 6 weapons—a feature many players believe should be standard. While Modern Warfare 3 weapons remain accessible in Warzone, many meta weapons originate from Black Ops 6, rendering previously earned camos unusable.
Like previous Call of Duty titles, players are grinding for coveted Black Ops 6 mastery camos. Unlike weapon blueprints, these camos are earned through in-game challenges, culminating in the Dark Matter camo. However, players who already unlocked these camos in Modern Warfare 3 found them largely redundant in Warzone after Black Ops 6's release. This glitch offers a potential solution.
Call of Duty: Warzone Player Discovers New Camo Glitch
A method to equip Modern Warfare 3 camos on Black Ops 6 weapons in Warzone has emerged. This unofficial method, shared by Twitter user BSPGamin (and highlighted by Dexerto), is likely to be patched.
This glitch requires a friend. Begin a private Warzone match, equipping a Black Ops 6 weapon in your first loadout slot. Join a friend's lobby, equip a Modern Warfare 3 weapon, and repeatedly select the desired camo. The host then switches to a private match. The friend leaves, and the player again spams the camo selection while the friend rejoins the private match. The camo should then be applied to the Black Ops 6 weapon.
For players preferring to use Black Ops 6 camos but struggling to unlock mastery camos, Treyarch confirmed they're adding a challenge tracking feature to Black Ops 6. This feature, present in Modern Warfare 3, was absent from Black Ops 6 but will return in a future update.
