The popular digital board game, Ticket to Ride, is expanding its routes to include Switzerland and its neighboring countries! This exciting new expansion introduces country-to-country and city-to-country connections, adding a new layer of strategic depth to the gameplay. Build your railroad empire across stunning new landscapes, connecting nations rather than just individual cities.

This holiday season update also includes two brand-new characters and four fresh destination tokens. Developer Marmalade Games aimed to deliver a festive gift to Ticket to Ride enthusiasts, offering not only new locations but also innovative gameplay mechanics. The expansion is designed to challenge both seasoned players and newcomers, encouraging dynamic and adaptable strategies.

Country-to-country tickets present the challenge of linking specific countries, offering multiple route options with varying point values. For example, you might choose to connect France to Germany, Italy, or Austria, each yielding a different reward. City-to-country tickets follow a similar principle, but require connecting a city to a country. Careful planning is crucial, as each country features a limited number of connection points.

Points are awarded based on the highest-scoring connection completed for each ticket. Failure to complete a connection results in a point deduction based on the ticket's lowest value.
