Tomnoki Studio's Sphere Defense is a fresh take on the tower defense genre, drawing inspiration from the beloved geoDefense. The developer, a fan of the original, aimed to recreate its simple yet challenging gameplay.

The Story:

Earth, or "The Sphere," faces imminent destruction from alien invaders. Humanity, forced underground, develops new technology to fight back. Years of struggle culminate in a counteroffensive, led by you, to save the planet.

Gameplay:

Sphere Defense adheres to the classic tower defense formula: deploy units with unique strengths to repel waves of enemies. Successful attacks earn resources for expanding and upgrading your arsenal. The difficulty increases the strategic challenge.

Three difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard) each offer 10 stages, with each stage lasting 5-15 minutes.

Diverse Turrets and Units:

Sphere Defense features seven unit types, offering strategic variety:

• Offensive Units: Standard Attack Turret (single target), Area Attack Turret (multiple targets), Piercing Attack Turret (effective against linear formations).
• Support Units: Cooling Turret and Incendiary Turret, enhancing offensive capabilities.
• Support/Offensive Units: Fixed-Point Attack Unit (precise missile strikes), Linear Attack Unit (satellite laser attacks).
