PUBG Mobile unveils new version 3.6 update, featuring Sacred Quartet mode & more

PUBG Mobile, Krafton's hit mobile battle royale, is set to debut its first major update for 2025. And rest assured this one is a doozy as they're debuting the new Sacred Quarter mode, a major event, mounts and even elemental powers!

Yes, the watchword of this new update is wuxia, as you'll find Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok filled with a new floating mountain sanctuary brimming with elemental energy. You'll be able to explore both these and more earthbound locations that feature elemental devices, treasure and equipment, as well as Mystic Enclaves scattered around the map where you can take a moment to relax and recuperate.

You can master new Elemental Arts on Spawn Island by selecting exclusive elements from a pop-up window. Whether that be the Flaming Phoenix, Aqua Dragon, Whirlwind Tiger or Naturespirit Deer, all with distinctive mystical abilities for you to use.

While it may be a bit forward, and optimistic, PUBG Mobile is also set to debut a major new event on January 23rd to boot! The Spring Festival, which will take place from launch until February 5th, lets you celebrate the Year of the Snake in style. Dumplings will let you regain health and energy, while you can also see the vibrant Lion Dance when entering the Mystic Enclave.

And that's not even getting into a wealth of new items being added to World of Wonder that you can decorate your home with or the new two-seater Panda mount that lets you take this black and white beast into battle. Suffice it to say Krafton is coming out of the gate swinging with this new update! But jump in quick, because Sacred Quartet is only available until March 5th!
