Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!

Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)

This in-person event will take place in two locations: Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium and New Taipei City's Metropolitan Park. Inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, the event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, and Autumn Masquerade) with Unova region Pokémon. Shiny Deerling variations will appear depending on the habitat and time of day.

Trainers can encounter Shiny Meloetta via Masterwork Research, hatch Shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others, and potentially find shiny Pikachu with unique hats through Field Research. Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses, Druddigon in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott in One-Star Raids, all with increased shiny rates.

Tickets are available now at a discounted price ($25 USD in Los Angeles, $630 NT in New Taipei). Add-on tickets offer extra bonuses, such as 5,000 XP after completing a raid. The event runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8 respectively). Booths and team lounges will offer merchandise and relaxation areas. A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will be held March 1-2 for those who can't attend in person.

Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)

This city-wide event takes place in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time). Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery!

Receive a special explorer hat-wearing Eevee at the start. Evolving it (25 Eevee Candy) retains the hat. The "Eevee Explorers Expedition" earns a second hat-wearing Eevee. Special Pokémon like Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, and Clamperl will appear in the wild, while others (Oricorio, Swablu, Skiddo) will hatch from eggs. Location-specific Pokémon will also be available. Maps will be provided, and Pikachu/Eevee visors (while supplies last) will be given to participants.

Tickets are $10 USD in Hong Kong and R$45 in São Paulo. Add-on tickets offer extra items and increased Shiny Pokémon encounter chances.
