If you've been excitedly waiting for the trading feature in Pokémon TCG Pocket, the wait is almost over. The feature is scheduled to release on January 29th, followed closely by a fresh expansion called Space-Time Smackdown on the very next day!

For those unfamiliar, trading works just as the name implies—you’ll be able to exchange certain rare cards with friends, much like you would with physical cards. To make trades, you’ll need to use trade hourglasses and trade tokens. This addition promises to enhance the game’s authenticity, bringing it closer to the experience of collecting physical Pokémon cards.

Following closely is the aptly named Space-Time Smackdown expansion, which introduces some beloved fan-favorite cards to Pokémon TCG Pocket. The update marks the arrival of Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, with two new digital booster packs featuring the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia.

If legendaries aren't your main interest, you'll still find plenty to enjoy with the arrival of other favorites like Lucario, alongside Sinnoh's starter trio: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup. These cards will be accessible through the Wonder Pick feature as well as through standard booster packs.
