What draws me back to the Pokémon 151 set is its exceptional quality beyond mere nostalgia. The card art in this set is a significant step up from the typical designs. Take, for instance, the Illustration Rare Bulbasaur, which is depicted hiding amidst a jungle of giant leaves, evoking the feel of a Ghibli movie. It's beautifully executed. Then there's Alakazam ex, portrayed in a cluttered study, suggesting it's working on a psychic PhD. The charm is undeniable.
