Pokémon GO Reveals May 2025 Roadmap with a Surprise!

May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, with a packed schedule of events and raid opportunities. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the return of the Lake Trio to 5-Star Raids across various regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be featured in Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th. Players can look forward to encountering this Guardian Deity with the special move Nature's Madness and a chance to find its Shiny variant.

Following Tapu Fini, the Lake Trio will make their grand return starting May 12th, with regional availability. Uxie will appear in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, while Azelf will be available in the Americas and Greenland. This gives players around the world a chance to catch these legendary Pokémon.

After the Lake Trio's stint, Tapu Bulu will take over the Five-Star raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature's Madness and a Shiny form.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May 2025 offers a robust lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to May 12th, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to May 25th, and Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

The month's events start with "Growing Up" from May 2 to May 7, and a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. The "Crown Clash" event runs from May 10th to May 18th, with the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend scheduled for May 10th and 11th.

Community Day is set for May 11th, with the featured Pokémon yet to be revealed, adding an element of surprise. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" will take place from May 14th to May 18th, and the Shadow Raid Day is planned for May 17th.

Later in the month, "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" will run from May 21st to May 27th, and the May Community Day Classic is scheduled for May 24th. The month will close with a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day on May 25th, 2025.
