Pokémon Go Holiday Event to Bring Festive Cheer

Get ready for Pokémon Go's Holiday festivities! Niantic's Holiday Part One event runs from December 17th to 22nd, bringing bonus rewards, special Pokémon encounters, and seasonal challenges.

This event doubles your XP for catching Pokémon and halves Egg hatching distances. A new costumed Dedenne (with a shiny variant!) debuts, alongside the first-ever Shiny Sandygast. Expect to find Alolan Sandshrew, Swinub, and Darumaka in the wild.

Raids offer a festive roster: One-star raids feature costumed Pikachu and Psyduck; three-star raids include Undersea Holiday Glaceon and Cryogonal; and Mega Raids star Mega Latias and Mega Latios.

Seven-kilometer Eggs hold the potential for Hisuian Growlithe or a ribbon-adorned Cubchoo. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks (or a $2.00 Timed Research) for themed Pokémon, Premium Battle Passes, and more.
