Palworld Offers 6 Free Holiday Skins
As the holiday season unfolds, numerous games are delighting players with free content, and the incredibly popular Palworld is joining the festive fun. Launched in 2024, Palworld has quickly become a major success story and recently rolled out its most significant post-launch update yet, introducing new Pals, a new island, and more to its vibrant open-world survival experience.
Months after its initial release, Palworld enhanced the game with an update that allows players to customize certain Pals with skins. To access these skins, players must construct the Pal Dressing Facility, which becomes available at level 1 and requires just 10 Stone and 10 Paldium Fragments to build. Once the facility is up and running, Palworld players can adorn their Pals with a variety of skins, including the newly released six Christmas skins.
The official Palworld Twitter account has announced the availability of these six Christmas skins, which players can apply to Chillet, Chillet Ignis, Frostallion, Shadowbeak, Gumoss, and Depresso after updating their game to the latest version and building the Pal Dressing Facility. Unlike some seasonal skins, the Christmas skins are not limited-time, allowing players to enjoy these festive looks well beyond the holiday season.

This approach echoes Palworld's previous celebration of Halloween, where four free skins were introduced. The Halloween skins transformed Cattiva with a Jack-o-lantern and witchier looks, dressed Pengullet in pirate attire, and adorned Croajiro with a witch hat. These were well-received by the community, setting a positive precedent for the new Christmas skins.
Looking ahead to 2025, fans are eager to see what new skins Palworld will introduce. Despite facing legal challenges with Nintendo, developer Pocketpair is committed to expanding Palworld as it progresses toward its full 1.0 release. While it remains to be seen if more holiday-themed skins are on the horizon, players can currently enjoy the festive Christmas-themed skins and anticipate future updates.
