"New Operator Rauora Joins Rainbow Six Siege"
The final day of the Six Invitational is always a thrilling event for Rainbow Six Siege fans, as Ubisoft traditionally unveils exciting updates and new operators. This year, Ubisoft introduced Rauora, the latest attack operator hailing from New Zealand, adding a fresh dynamic to the game.
Rauora's standout gadget is the DOM launcher, a bulletproof shield deployable exclusively in doorways. While it can be destroyed by explosives, its bulletproof nature offers significant tactical advantage. The shield features a trigger mechanism that can be activated by any player. However, the time it takes for the shield to open varies based on the team: attackers can open it in just one second, whereas defenders must wait three seconds. This difference could be crucial, especially in scenarios where the defuser has been planted.

Alongside her innovative gadget, Rauora introduces a new weapon to the Rainbow Six Siege arsenal: the Reaper MK2, a fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and an enlarged magazine. For her primary weapon, players can choose between the powerful M249 LMG or the precise 417 marksman rifle, offering versatile combat options.
Fans eager to try out Rauora can look forward to her availability on the test servers next week. However, her integration into the live version of the game will take a bit longer, ensuring a smooth and balanced addition to the gameplay experience.
