NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile
NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially shutting down. After a four-year run on Android, the game will meet its end-of-service (EOS) date on March 20th, 2025. This news comes as a surprise to many fans of the 4v1 survival horror title, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful PC and console game. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.
Dead by Daylight Mobile offered players the thrilling choice of playing as either a Killer, hunting down Survivors, or as a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture. The game's unique gameplay loop, pitting one Killer against four Survivors, captured the essence of its PC counterpart.
Dead by Daylight Mobile's EOS Timeline:
- January 16th, 2025: The game will be removed from app stores.
- March 20th, 2025: Servers will shut down completely. Players with the game installed can continue playing until this date.
NetEase will provide details regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional laws.
For players looking to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package and loyalty rewards for those who transfer their progress from the mobile game. Consider switching platforms to continue the thrilling chase!
