Monster Hunter Wilds February Open Beta Features New Monsters and Content
Monster Hunter Wilds: February Open Beta Extends Hunting Opportunities!
Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Fear not! A second chance to hunt arrives in early February, bringing new monsters and content. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced the extended beta test on the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel.
This second Open Beta Test offers two distinct periods: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A key addition is the inclusion of the Gypceros, a fan-favorite monster from previous games.
Character data transfers from the first beta to the second, and ultimately to the full game (launching February 28th, 2025), but progress will not carry over. Participants receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a valuable bonus item pack for the full game.
Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, stating the team heard player requests for another opportunity to experience the game. While post-launch improvements are underway, they won't be included in this beta.
Prepare for the hunt! Monster Hunter Wilds arrives on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 28th, 2025.
