Mobile Delta Force Arrives Through Garena, TiMi Partnership
Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch
Get ready for the global release of Delta Force, courtesy of Garena! Previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, this tactical first-person shooter is launching a PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025.
Developed initially by NovaLogic and later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), Delta Force is now being brought to global audiences by Garena. The game boasts cross-progression between PC and mobile platforms. Garena and TiMi plan a 2025 launch in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
What's in Store?
Delta Force offers two core game modes:
- Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into four-person squads.
- Operations: A high-stakes extraction shooter mode for three-person teams. Teams scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and fight to reach an extraction point before time runs out. Bosses, restricted areas, and special missions add to the challenge. A rare item, the MandelBrick, unlocks exclusive skins, but reveals your location to other players.
A Nod to the Past
This new Delta Force iteration features sharp, realistic graphics and retains the tactical gameplay the series is renowned for. Fans of the original 1998 release will undoubtedly find much to appreciate.
