NetEase Games has exciting news for Marvel Rivals players: a new hero will be introduced every month and a half as part of the game's evolving seasons. This was confirmed by the studio's creative director, Guangyun Chen, in a recent interview with Metro. Chen emphasized their commitment to keeping the game fresh and engaging, stating, "Every season we'll be rolling out fresh seasonal stories, new maps, and new heroes. We'll actually be breaking down each season into two halves. The length of one season is three months. And for each half of the season, we will introduce a new hero. We just eventually want to continue to enhance the experience, and, you know, keep everyone excited in our community."

As Marvel Rivals continues to captivate fans, the question on everyone's mind at the end of each season will be: who's next? Season 1, titled "Eternal Night Falls," has already set a strong precedent by introducing Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman in the first half, with The Thing and the Human Torch set to join in the second half. These iconic characters from the Fantastic Four are just the beginning, as the game already boasts a robust roster including Wolverine, Magneto, Spider-Man, Jeff the Landshark, and Storm. Fans are buzzing with speculation about future additions, with rumors suggesting characters like Blade might appear in Season 2, alongside hopes for Daredevil, Deadpool, and other X-Men members.

The success of Marvel Rivals so far has been bolstered not only by its expanding roster but also by significant balance changes and gameplay tweaks introduced in Season 1. NetEase has promised more updates to keep the gameplay dynamic and balanced.
