I've been reminded that I should give more attention to Marvel games beyond Marvel Snap (Free). While I frequently cover Marvel Snap's updates, other titles often only appear in my Monday Best Updates articles. This is a valid criticism! So, let's dedicate a Marvel Minute to exploring what other Marvel games are offering. It turns out both Marvel Future Fight (Free) and Marvel Contest of Champions (Free) have exciting new events. Let's dive in!

First, Marvel Future Fight is celebrating Iron Man! Tony Stark, ever the innovator, is showcasing new suits and weaponry. This event, inspired by Invincible Iron Man, introduces new outfits for Tony and Pepper. Here are the highlights from the update notes:

"Invincible Iron Man joins Marvel Future Fight. Defeat enemies with enhanced suits!

  1. New Uniforms: Iron Man, Rescue

  2. New Tier-4 Advancement: War Machine, Hulkbuster

  3. New Legend+ World Boss: The returned Black Order, Corvus & Proxima

  4. New Custom Gear: C.T.P. of Liberation

  5. 200 Crystals Event: Link your email for 200 crystals!"

Now, let's look at the ever-popular fighting game, Marvel Contest of Champions. New events usually introduce playable characters, and this game boasts an incredibly diverse roster. The inclusion of less-common characters is a highlight for long-time Marvel fans. The update notes detail the additions:

"NEW CHAMPIONS

Count Nefaria: A Maggia crime syndicate leader with enhanced abilities gained through scientific experimentation. Resurrected as an ionic being, he's effectively immortal as long as he drains other ionic entities.

Shathra: Daughter of Oshtur and Gaea, from Loomworld. Tasked with creating the Celestial Map of Humanity, her jealousy and spite towards her sister, Neith, led her to a vengeful quest to destroy her sister's creation.

NEW QUESTS AND EVENTS

Event Quest – Lupus In Fabula: A mission to evict villains from The Collector's ship, filled with challenges and intrigue.

Side Quest – Ludum Maximus: The Maestro's celebratory games, hosted by Count Nefaria, featuring randomized paths and formidable foes.

Act 9; Chapter 1 – The Reckoning: The aftermath of Glykhan's self-destruction and the continuing schemes of Ouroboros.

Glorious Games Saga: A four-month celebration featuring a classical antiquity theme, champion reworks, and new events.

Realm Events: Global collaborative events with milestone and ranked rewards."

That's it! Both events look fantastic. If you haven't played these games recently or are new to them, this is a great opportunity to check them out. I'm definitely going to try Count Nefaria – he looks delightfully nefarious! Enjoy!
