Jump King's 2D Platformer Hits Mobile Worldwide with Expansions
Jump King, the notoriously challenging 2D platformer that has tested the patience of gamers worldwide, is now available on mobile. Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO Publishing, the game has officially launched globally for both Android and iOS devices following a limited soft launch in select regions earlier this year.
Originally released on PC in 2019 and later on consoles in 2020, Jump King makes its mobile debut as a free-to-play title. The core gameplay remains just as punishing as ever, preserving the same unforgiving mechanics that have made it a cult favorite among masochistic players and precision-jumping enthusiasts.
What’s New in Jump King Mobile?
In Jump King, you take control of a silent armored protagonist whose only ability is jumping—albeit with extreme precision. One misjudged leap and you’re sent plummeting back to the start. Every jump you make automatically saves, so there's no room for error.
Your ultimate objective? Reach the summit to find the Smoking Hot Babe of Legend. But don’t expect any mercy along the way—this journey demands persistence, timing, and nerves of steel.
The controls have been finely tuned for mobile play. Simply hold to charge your jump and release to launch yourself upward. It's easy to learn, but brutally difficult to master.
Additional Features & Mechanics
Jump King Mobile introduces a heart-based energy system. You begin with 300 hearts, losing one each time you fall. To replenish, spin the daily fortune wheel for a chance to earn between 10 and 150 hearts, or watch ads for additional refills (capped at 150 free hearts per day).
The mobile version also includes two full expansions: New Babe+, which offers a bizarre and intense new path in a second chapter, and Ghost of the Babe, an atmospheric third act set in an eerie, deserted world beyond the Philosopher’s Forest.
