Grounded 2 Hits Xbox Game Preview Next Month

Microsoft unveiled the sequel to Grounded during its Xbox Games Showcase 2025, with players able to dive in as early as next month.
Grounded 2 brings a fresh installment to Obsidian's tiny garden survival adventure, reminiscent of the classic film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
Mirroring the original Grounded, this new chapter will debut through Xbox Game Preview, offering early access while development continues. It arrives on July 29, 2025, for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
The reveal trailer above showcases gameplay beyond the original backyard setting. This time, you'll navigate a nearby park, crafting tools for survival and confronting dangerous creatures like caterpillars.
Fortunately, not all wildlife is hostile. The trailer highlights the ability to ride on the back of an ant as a mount—another nod to the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids spirit.
