To attend the Semine wedding, you'll need to navigate a bit of a questline. If you're following the blacksmith's path in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, here's how to complete the Hermit quest.

How to Start the Hermit Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The Hermit quest unlocks automatically as you progress through blacksmith Radovan's quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. After retrieving the lost cart, return to Radovan. He'll then request a custom-forged sword as a wedding gift, initiating the Hermit questline. Before confronting the hermit, you must gather information from the Troskowitz villagers.

Get Information About the Hermit

Talk to Gerda and Stanislav

Next, speak with Gerda in Troskowitz; she witnessed a relevant event. You can either pay her a small amount of Groschen or attempt a dialogue check to obtain information. Afterwards, find Stanislav in Apollonia and do the same.

Gather Evidence

With the information gathered, it's time to find physical evidence. Locate the cross Gerda mentioned and dig up the grave (you'll need a spade; purchase one from the Troskowitz trader or find one in a cemetery). Examine the Groschen, documents, and artifacts related to the Knights of the Cross.

Read the documents. Then, proceed to the quest marker in Apollonia. You'll find a hut and a clearing with a black horse; examine the horse for your next clue. You're now ready to confront the hermit.

Talk to the Hermit

Go to the Apollonia cemetery, speak with Margaret, and give her the cross. This starts the Sinful Soul quest (optional; you can return to Konrad immediately).

Help Konrad or Kill Him

Returning to the hermit's hut, you'll find Crusaders. You can either help them kill Konrad or aid his escape. If you choose to help Konrad, sneak to his hut. He'll speak with you once you’ve completed the previous task; ask him about the sword. You can then choose to help or kill him.

After killing him (or if you help him escape), speak with the Crusaders and consider returning the documents for a reward.
