Get ready for a cosmic upgrade! Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9 launches December 3rd, bringing a galaxy of changes to the Tavern. Prepare for a revamped minion lineup, flashy new tech, and a complete overhaul of the gameplay experience.

Key Features:

  • Bob's Technotavern Overhaul: Expect a significant upgrade to Bob's Technotavern. This season resets ratings and eliminates Trinkets, replacing them with exciting new Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens allow you to reroll a hero option at the selection screen, offering a second chance at a more favorable hero.

    • November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
    • November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
    • November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
    • November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
    • November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
    • December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes release.
  • Three New Heroes: Season 9 introduces three brand-new heroes to the roster, with Farseer Nobundo already generating considerable buzz with his powerful abilities.

  • Minion Pool Reshuffle: Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are entering or leaving the pools, dramatically altering the meta.

  • Damage Cap Adjustment (Solo Mode): A modified damage cap will be implemented in solo Battlegrounds games. Early-game damage will be capped at 5, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. The cap is removed once you reach the top 4.
