This marks a thrilling continuation of last year's eagerly awaited update that introduced Dynamax and Gigantamax forms to the game.

Gigantamax is a unique variant of Dynamax, where Pokémon not only grow in size and strength but also undergo a striking transformation in appearance and gain access to powerful, exclusive G-Max Moves. While the main series games boast 32 Pokémon capable of Gigantamaxing, Pokémon GO currently features only six of these, with the latest addition being Gigantamax Lapras. The roster is set to expand with the introduction of Gigantamax Kingler.

The $5 ticket offers valuable perks including a Max Mushroom, 25,000 XP, doubled XP from Max Battles, and an increased Max Particle collection limit of 5600. Additionally, a $7.99 box containing six particle packs will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store.

Max Battle Day is just one of the exciting events lined up for February. Before that, the Lunar New Year event will kick off on January 29 and run until February 1.
