The legendary Master Chief from the Halo universe has returned to the Fortnite Item Shop! This isn't a drill – after a lengthy absence, players can once again suit up as the iconic Spartan. But how long will he be available? Let's dive into the details.

Master Chief's last appearance was June 3, 2022, making this a highly anticipated comeback. This Christmas miracle, starting December 23rd, 2024, gives players a limited window to add the Master Chief to their collection.

Acquiring the Master Chief Outfit

The Master Chief outfit is available for 1,500 V-Bucks in the Fortnite Item Shop. Purchasing the outfit also grants the Battle Legend Back Bling for free. The skin features Master Chief's armor from Halo Infinite. While a LEGO style isn't included, several other Halo-themed items are available as part of the Master Chief Bundle or as separate purchases.

Unlocking the Matte Black Master Chief Style

Good news! Epic Games has clarified that the Matte Black style for the Master Chief outfit is still obtainable. To unlock this stylish variant, simply purchase the Master Chief outfit and then play a single match of Fortnite Battle Royale on an Xbox Series X|S.

Previously, there was misinformation suggesting this style was no longer unlockable for post-December 2024 purchases. This has been corrected, so grab your chance to get both styles!
