My Father Lied A Mesopotamia-themed Point and Click Title Launches in May
Unravel the mystery surrounding your father's disappearance in My Father Lied, a captivating point-and-click adventure game launching May 30th!
Ahmed Alameen, a writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title – a narrative-driven puzzle game inspired by Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior, a mystery further complicated by the recent revelation of a previously unknown sibling.
Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to bring his vision to life. The game utilizes point-and-click mechanics to explore richly detailed environments, requiring players to piece together images, decipher codes, and solve intricate puzzles. The aesthetic blends elements reminiscent of Myst, Heaven's Vault, and the chilling works of H.P. Lovecraft.
Employing a unique blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including hand-crafted cutscenes, Alameen delivers stunning visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.
My Father Lied will be available on May 30th for $10.99/€ on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. Add it to your Steam wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available.
