April is set to be an electrifying month for Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC) players, with the introduction of the captivating new champion, Spider-Woman. Joining the roster on April 17th, Spider-Woman, also known as Jessica Drew, brings a unique backstory to the game. Originally exposed to uranium as a child, her father, a brilliant geneticist, attempted to save her by infusing her with spider DNA. After overcoming the initial adverse effects, Jessica emerged with incredible spider powers, setting the stage for her transformation into Spider-Woman.

Before Spider-Woman makes her debut, players will encounter another fascinating addition to the MCOC universe. Lumatrix, a highly dangerous assassin engineered by the Founders, will be available starting April 9th. Dark Phoenix also returns in a Side Quest with "Dark Bounties." Players will need to track down champions targeted by Dark Phoenix's bounty to claim their rewards, adding another layer of engagement to the game.
