Obtain Exclusive Pokémon Shroodle in Pokémon GO

Pokémon GO's newest additions keep trainers busy! Following Fidough's arrival, Shroodle is now available, but obtaining it isn't as simple as a wild encounter.

Shroodle's Pokémon GO Debut

The Poison-type Shroodle arrives in Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, this newcomer will remain available after the event concludes.

Shiny Shroodle?

At launch, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant in Pokémon GO. Expect its Shiny form to appear in a future event, possibly one focused on Poison-types or Team GO Rocket.

How to Catch Shroodle

12KM Eggs collected from January 15th onwards (12 AM local time) have a chance to contain Shroodle. Its hatch rate is likely higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but it should remain in the 12KM egg pool afterward.

Acquiring 12KM Eggs

To obtain Shroodle, you'll need 12KM Eggs. These rare eggs are exclusively obtained by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff) or Giovanni. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event is ideal for gathering these eggs, as Team GO Rocket activity increases, making Rocket Radars easier to find. However, you can battle GO Rocket Grunts at any time to challenge the Leaders and obtain a 12KM Egg (provided you have inventory space).

Obtaining Grafaiai

Evolution requires 50 Shroodle Candy. Hatching multiple Shroodle or using one as your buddy are the most efficient ways to gather the necessary Candy.
