Destiny 2 Players Discover Frustrating Reputation Gain Bug
Destiny 2's Warlock Class Faces Persistent Reputation Bug
Destiny 2 players, particularly Warlocks, are experiencing a persistent reputation gain bug impacting Vanguard reputation, even after the recent Grandmaster Nightfall launch and accompanying double XP event. While Bungie has been actively addressing various bugs and glitches introduced with new content like "Into the Light" and "The Final Shape," this Warlock-specific issue remains unresolved.
This bug isn't new; reports suggest it's been present for several months, hindering Warlock players' progress in gaining Vanguard reputation. The problem became more noticeable with the return of Grandmaster Nightfalls and the accompanying double XP bonus, as Warlocks consistently received less XP than Titans and Hunters for completing activities. This discrepancy significantly slows their advancement through the ranks.
The issue affects various game modes, including Gambit, where Warlocks previously experienced reduced XP gains. While the community is actively bringing the bug to light, Bungie has yet to officially acknowledge or address the problem. This is despite recent updates like 8.0.0.5, which focused on other issues such as Ritual Pathfinder adjustments and the removal of Elemental surges from Dungeons and Raids.
Until Bungie addresses this, Warlock players are urged to continue reporting the issue and highlighting the disparity in XP gains compared to other classes. The hope is that increased community awareness will prompt a timely fix from the developers.
