With a variety of heroes from different classes, each boasting unique abilities and playstyles, you're in for a deeply customizable and strategically rich combat experience. Let's dive into this beginner's guide, where we'll unravel the game's intricate combat system and explore its diverse game modes designed to keep you entertained.
Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Gods & Demons
At the heart of Gods & Demons, you'll find a vertical landscape mode that brings to life a dynamic battlefield filled with heroes from various factions and classes. The game's gacha system allows you to recruit these specialized heroes, a feature we'll delve into later. Your primary combat experience unfolds through the main story campaign, which is divided into multiple chapters, each containing numerous stages. To conquer these increasingly challenging stages, you'll need to devise different strategies and gain a thorough understanding of how battles function.
Silver Summons
In the Silver Summons banner, you're guaranteed to receive heroes ranging from 2 to 5 stars at random. You can use your accumulated silver contracts to summon on this banner. A pity system is in place, set at 1000 points, which ensures you get a random 5-star hero after 100 summons, as each summon earns you 10 points.
Gold Summons
The Gold Summons banner guarantees heroes from 3 to 5 stars. You can use your gold contracts or Diamonds to summon here. A single summon costs 300 diamonds, whereas a 10-fold summon is priced at 2700 diamonds. Similar to the Silver Summons, the pity system here is also set at 1000 points, but with each summon granting 20 points, you'll hit the pity after just 50 summons, securing a random 5-star hero.
Friendship Summons
For the Friendship Summons banner, you're looking at heroes from 2 to 5 stars, summoned using your accumulated friendship points. Just like the Silver Summons, a pity is set at 1000 points, achievable after 100 summons, with each summon contributing 10 points towards the pity system.
