Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, presented in partnership with the BIG Festival.

The awards, featuring 13 categories, saw finalists selected by a panel of 49 judges. All nominees were playable at the Sao Paulo Expo, a notable feature being the integrated showcase of mobile and PC games, underscoring the equal importance of both platforms.

The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?". This win highlights the game's unique appeal, previously noted in an article featuring ten lesser-known but exceptional games. Its growing popularity may necessitate an update to that list!
