First Bird Pokémon Lands in Pokémon GO for Catch Mastery Event!

If you're diving into the world of Pokémon GO, you're in for a treat with several exciting events lined up, including the highly anticipated Catch Mastery event. Alongside this, the game is buzzing with the Festival of Colors and the Might and Mastery events, with Catch Mastery being a thrilling part of the latter.

Catch Mastery Brings the First Birdie for Pokémon GO!

Mark your calendars for March 16th, as the Catch Mastery event kicks off from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. This event is all about Archen, the First Bird Pokémon, making it a must-attend for enthusiasts. During the event, you'll encounter wild spawns of Omanyte and Kabuto, with the exciting possibility of finding their Shiny versions.

Archen will be available as a Field Research reward, with an increased chance of encountering its Shiny form. To sweeten the deal, the event offers some fantastic XP bonuses: double XP for Nice Throws or better, and additional XP for Curveball Throws.

Don't miss out on the Timed Research focused on catching Rock-types. If you're ready to take on the challenge, you can complete up to 10 sets of tasks, rewarding you with a total of 40 Archen encounters.

The Mega Absol Raid Day Is also Happening Soon

Following closely is the Mega Absol Raid Day on March 23rd, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event introduces a new Charged Attack for Absol—Brutal Swing. Once the event begins, Absol will permanently gain access to this powerful move, which delivers 55 power in Trainer Battles and 65 power in gyms and raids.

From March 22nd at 5:00 p.m. PDT to March 23rd at 8:00 p.m. PDT, the Remote Raid Pass limit will temporarily increase to 20. Additionally, you can collect up to five extra free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs, bringing your daily total to six.
