Batman 80th Anniversary Blu-Ray Collection is on sale
Originally priced at $69.99, this remarkable collection is now available for $44.96 at Amazon. It includes 18 feature-length animated films, spanning from the late 1990s to more recent releases. Highlights include classics like "Batman: The Killing Joke" from 2016, which adapts Alan Moore's renowned graphic novel. While we gave it a 6.1 in our review, noting that "there's probably a way to expand on the events of The Killing Joke and craft a story that doesn't elevate Batman and Joker at the expense of Batgirl. Sadly, this movie doesn't find the answer. As an adaptation, The Killing Joke succeeds only when it sticks closely to the source material. Its attempts to embellish the original story end in disaster."
What Movies Are Included?
The collection boasts a variety of films, including:
- Batman: Gotham Knight
- Batman: Year One
- Batman: Under the Red Hood
- Batman: Bad Blood
