Two years after its 2023 launch, Atomic Heart has attracted 10 million players.

Though this figure reflects player counts rather than sales, it remains a remarkable milestone.

Available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, developer Mundfish described Atomic Heart as "a breakout AAA debut from an unknown studio that captivated the gaming world," setting "a new benchmark for visual and cinematic quality in FPS titles." The game received more than 60 "Best of the Year" awards and has since launched three narrative-driven DLCs, with another currently in development.

Released in February 2023, Atomic Heart is a first-person adventure shooter staged in an alternate-history version of the Soviet Union at its peak. Our review awarded the game an 8/10, praising it as "a wildly imaginative, atompunk-inspired effort that carries the torch left by games like BioShock—occasionally stumbling, yet bold enough to punch far above its weight."

Mundfish has since founded a game support initiative named Mundfish Powerhouse, aimed at helping developers and investors bring standout projects to market.
