Its Game of the Year win at The Game Awards 2024 was a highlight, but the true extent of its success only recently emerged.

While this achievement is monumental for a platformer, it still falls short of the overall award counts of titles like Baldur's Gate 3 (288), Elden Ring (435), and The Last of Us Part II (326).

Despite this, Astro Bot's commercial success is undeniable. By November 2024, it had sold over 1.5 million copies—a remarkable feat considering its relatively small development team (under 70 developers) and three-year development cycle.
