The highly anticipated third expansion map for ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition, titled Extinction, is now available on the Google Play Store. This new addition transports players to a dystopian Earth, offering a thrilling continuation of the main ARK narrative. If you're a seasoned player who has already conquered the challenges of Scorched Earth and Aberration, prepare for an entirely different experience with Extinction.

Extinction concludes the primary storyline of ARK and introduces players to a post-apocalyptic world where water is scarce, and survival requires ingenuity. The setting is a broken version of Earth, overrun by Element and inhabited by a mix of robotic and organic creatures, including rexes. As a lone survivor, your mission is to unravel the mystery behind the creation of the Ark system.

Alongside the launch of the Extinction map, several updates have been rolled out to enhance gameplay. Players can now benefit from a new Thick Skin insulation buff to aid in survival. In multiplayer PVE, creatures will no longer be stuck at camped locations, reducing griefing. Additionally, there are now limits on the number of light sources that can be placed, helping to curb spammy constructions.
