May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Confirmed

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of titles for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, catering to both Extra and Premium subscribers. The announcement, detailed in a PlayStation.Blog post, showcases a diverse array of nine new games set to be available starting May 20, 2025.

For PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers, the highlight is undoubtedly Sand Land, an action RPG that brings Akira Toriyama's renowned manga to life on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter is especially noteworthy as an enhanced version was announced for PS5 (alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S) on the same day, slated for release on May 20. GSC Game World has promised that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, although it remains uncertain whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus players.

Premium members are in for a treat with the classic title Battle Engine Aquila, available on both PS4 and PS5. This sci-fi action game offers an immersive experience where players pilot a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in aerial and ground combat.
