Now, more details have emerged about this eagerly anticipated crossover, which will feature the iconic Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a playable character. Partnering with Ubisoft, the event will celebrate two beloved entries in the Assassin’s Creed franchise: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released earlier showcased Vertin navigating a rain-soaked street, with the luminous Assassin’s Creed logo beckoning in the distance.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The full details of the collaboration have been unveiled, with the launch scheduled for August 2025 across Android, iOS, and PC platforms. In addition to Ezio, the crossover promises a wealth of engaging content. The event is structured in two phases, each introducing unique Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and activities.

Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the 15th-century Italian landscape, deciphering enigmatic clues. Phase II shifts the setting to ancient Greece, immersing players in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will likely recognize many of the events and scenarios that Vertin and her team will encounter.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all global servers are synchronized, ensuring that players worldwide can access the event content simultaneously.

Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. You take on the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon known as The Storm. After these storms, entire eras vanish, prompting Vertin and her partner, Sonetto, to journey through various timelines to save other arcanists sensitive to these temporal shifts.
