TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION): Performs a standard-speed data communication.

TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION): Executes the fastest possible communication type. Only supported by certain vehicle OBD-II protocols.

¹ Only the ISO 15765-4 CAN OBD-II protocol can deliver up to 140 parameters per second, provided you have an OBD-II adapter with a higher-quality chip. Older OBD-II protocols can deliver as little as 4 parameters per second in the worst case.
