Added Six TotK’s Magnetic Zonai Device Capsules

Nintendo Tokyo has introduced a unique collection of magnetic capsule toys featuring Zonai Devices from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. These exclusive collectibles are available only at this store, capturing the essence of the devices used in the game.

While the game boasts numerous Zonai Devices, this collection highlights six iconic items: the Zonai Fan, Flame Emitter, Portable Pot, Shock Emitter, Big Wheel, and Rocket. Each capsule includes a magnet designed to resemble the Ultrahand’s adhesive material, enhancing the play experience by mimicking the in-game fusion of objects and devices. The capsules themselves are crafted to mirror those dispensed by TotK’s Device Dispenser, adding an authentic touch.

Unlike in the game where Zonai Charges or Construct materials are used, these collectibles are obtained by spending money at Nintendo’s gacha machine. Each capsule is priced at around $4, with a limit of two attempts per person before they must rejoin the queue. Given the immense popularity of Tears of the Kingdom, expect long lines for a chance to snag these coveted items.

Previous Nintendo’s Gachapon Prizes

Nintendo stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto first delighted fans with the Controller Button Collections in June 2021, featuring nostalgic designs from Famicom and NES consoles. This was followed by a second wave in July 2024, which included classic designs from SNES, N64, and Gamecube controllers.

For those eager to acquire these exclusive items, you can also visit Nintendo’s Check-In booth at Narita Airport. While the Zonai Devices are currently exclusive to the Nintendo Store in Tokyo, they might expand to other locations soon. Keep an eye out for resellers, though, as these collectibles could appear at a premium price.
