Zenless Zone Zero Confirms Event for 1.5 Release

A leaked Zenless Zone Zero update reveals a new Version 1.5 event featuring a Fall Guys-style multiplayer platformer game mode. This temporary event, tentatively titled "Grand Marcel," will likely offer players unique gameplay distinct from the battle-focused modes recently added in Version 1.4.

The leak, originating from community leaker Palito, includes screenshots showcasing stages reminiscent of Fall Guys. While the specifics remain unclear, the mode may be limited to the Grand Marcel event and not a permanent addition. It's uncertain whether players will control their usual characters or the popular Bangboo. Rewards are anticipated to include Polychromes and potentially additional free pulls, as previously rumored for Version 1.5.

This isn't HoYoverse's first foray into platformer events; Honkai Impact 3rd's 2022 "Midnight Chronicle" event featured similar gameplay. That event utilized chibi versions of existing characters, suggesting a potential parallel for Zenless Zone Zero, perhaps using Bangboo.

Version 1.5, slated for January 22nd, will also introduce the highly anticipated playable characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, along with potential additions like Nicole's first character skin and a new Agent Story for Ellen. The inclusion of a platformer event adds another layer of excitement to the upcoming update.
