The ESRB description notes: "Players assume the role of Zelda, tasked with mending rifts across Hyrule and rescuing Link. Link utilizes sword and arrow combat, while Zelda employs a magic wand to summon creatures (wind-up knights, pig soldiers, slime) for battle. Combat involves burning enemies and mist-dissolving effects."

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is a highly anticipated title, becoming the most wishlisted game following its summer showcase reveal. However, the extent of Link's playable sections remains undisclosed.

The game's launch date is set for September 26th, 2024.

To coincide with the game's launch, Nintendo offers a special Hyrule Edition Switch Lite for pre-order. This golden-colored console, featuring the Hyrule crest and Triforce symbol, doesn't include the game but comes bundled with a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription for $49.99.
