Sega Delays Sonic Rumble for Update
Despite an exciting pre-launch crossover event featuring beloved Sega classics like Super Monkey Ball and Altered Beast, fans of Sonic Rumble will have to wait a bit longer for its global debut. The eagerly anticipated multiplayer battle royale game, which had amassed over 1.4 million pre-registrations, has been delayed by Sega. But don't worry, this pause is for a good reason.
Sega is gearing up to release the version 1.2 update, packed with exciting new content that will transform the toybox world created by Dr. Eggman. This update introduces Rumble Rankings, Crews, and character Skills, all designed to enhance the core gameplay experience. With Rumble Rankings, you can climb seasonal leaderboards to earn rewards, while Crews let you team up with friends to tackle score missions. The new Skills system adds strategic depth by equipping characters with unique abilities.
Rather than rushing these features into a mid-launch update, Sega has decided to take the time needed to perfect them. In the meantime, a Q&A session is scheduled for May 2nd on Discord, where you can learn more about what's coming and ask any questions you might have.

The delay won't affect the momentum Sonic Rumble has already gained.
