In Wuthering Waves, Dream Patrols are unique combat encounters that present various challenges for players to conquer. While most are straightforward, some, like the Knight in a Storm Dream Patrol, can be a bit more challenging, particularly if players struggle to understand the patrol's specific mechanics.

The Knight in a Storm Dream Patrol can be particularly perplexing. While defeating the enemy itself is relatively simple, those looking to collect all the chests and gain valuable resources like Astrites and Monnaie in WuWa will need to master the challenge objectives. Here's a detailed guide on how to successfully complete this challenge.

How to Finish Dream Patrol: Knight in a Storm

You can find this Dream Patrol at the Shores of Last Breath area, located in the Fagaceae Peninsula, east of Ragunna City. Look for the crossed swords icon on your map, which will become visible after activating the Resonance Nexus in the region. The quickest route is to teleport to the nearby Tacet Field, known for dropping the new Sonata set for Carlotta builds. However, you won't be able to access this area until you've completed the "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" quest.

The Questless Knight in this Dream Patrol fights similarly to others found in Rinascita, making it manageable to defeat. To successfully complete the challenge, you must meet the following objectives:

• Reach Battle Rank S for more than 10 seconds: Increase your Battle Rank by executing perfect dodges, parries, and utilizing your abilities, including Intro/Outro skills.
• Perform 3 Counterattacks that interrupt the knight's weapon enhancement: Parry the knight's attacks when its weapon is buffed.
• Immobilize an enemy with Resonance Liberation DMG: Use your character's ultimate to stun the knight by depleting the white bar under its health bar.

Countering the Knight's Enhanced Weapon

During the battle, the knight will summon three swords and select one, indicating that its weapon is now enhanced. At this point, the knight will execute aerial lunge attacks towards you, providing the perfect opportunity to counter. When the parry indicators above the knight overlap, strike with one of your attacks to successfully perform a counterattack. Repeat this action three times to clear the challenge.

If you're using Carlotta in WuWa, you can parry the knight's attacks with her jump attack or any shot from rifles. Carlotta fires rifle shots during her Resonance Liberation and whenever she has stacks of Molded Crystal (indicated by the crystal-shaped icon next to her).
